Dental Insurance Plus – What Are the Signs of Gingivitis
Signs of gingivitis include red and puffy gums, that typically bleed easily when the person brushes their teeth.
As stated in the prior post (on 8/24/19 – What is Gingivitis) Gingivitis can often time be resolved with good oral hygiene, such as longer and more frequent brushing, and flossing. In addition, an antiseptic mouthwash may help. This along with seeing your dentist for regular dental check ups and cleanings.
In mild cases of gingivitis, a person may not even know they have it, because symptoms are mild. However, the condition should be taken seriously and addressed immediately.
